Informative seminars on different subjects all winter long!

Starting at 6:00pm, our two hour long in store seminars will be given by experts willing to share a wealth of local knowledge. Whether you are a beginner, a Pro, or somewhere in between there will be something to learn for everyone. All seminars are free; we only ask that you bring your own folding chair.

January 6   Ice-fishing New Hampshire:   Learn tackle, tactics and transportation to catch fish and stay warm on New Hampshire's frozen lakes and ponds. Presented by NH Guide Captain James Savage.

January 13   Winter Steelhead on the Salmon River:   If you're interested in trout that commonly reach 10 to 20 pounds come learn the recipe for success of this world-class fishery. Fly-fishing and spin fishing techniques will be presented by NH Guide Capt. James Savage.

January 20   Ice-fishing for Pike:   If you're interested in tangling with the water wolf don't miss this presentation on tackle and strategy for icing big northern pike. Presented by fishing expert Mike Ferry.

January 27   Ice-Fishing for Rainbow Trout:   Improve your chances at The Meredith Rotary Derby with tips and tricks to ice more and bigger 'bows. Presented by NH Guide Capt. James Savage.

February 3   Local Fly-tying:   Beginner or intermediate fly-tiers will benefit from learning these simple and effective patterns that catch trout and salmon in the northeast. Presented by Professional Fly-Tier Capt. James Savage.

February 10   Fly-tying for the Salmon River:   Learn to tie flies that work on the Salmon River. It's hard to find good steelhead flies so it's best to tie your own. Presented by NH Guide Capt. James Savage.

February 17   Stripering 2010:   For beginners or old salts keeping up with our changing striper fishery is a challenge. Join us to discuss tactics and gear for another year of world-class stripering. Presented by James Savage and Mike Ferry.

February 24   Introduction to Tournament Bassin':   Find out what it takes to get started in tournament fishing. Presented by Todd Alberto.

March 3   How to Rig and Fish a Slug-go:   There aren't many fish that won't take a slug-go . From trout to tuna learn to rig the original soft-plastic jerk bait with Fishing Expert Mike Ferry.

March 10   Ground-Fishing for Cod and Haddock:   Learn how to drift and jig or fish bait for these tasty bottom dwellers. Tackle and technique will be covered by Guide and Outdoor writer Allan Butler.

March 17   Drop-Shotting for Bass:   An introduction to this new and effective technique that often produces bass when less-subtle methods won't. Presented by tournament fisherman Todd Alberto.

March 24   Tuna Knots and Rigging:   Learn biminis, wind-ons, splicing and crimping to be ready for next tuna season. Presented by NH Guide Capt. James Savage.

March 31   Understanding your GPS:   These invaluable tools can only help you when you know how to use them and Guide and Outdoor Writer Allan Butler will show you the tricks to help you help yourself next time on the water.

April 7   Flip and Pitch for Big Bass:   This proven technique is great for picking bass out of the heaviest cover and a must have for your tactical arsenal. Presented by Todd Alberto.
